Another hard day at the office

Romax Painters in conjunction with Higgins Commercial Painting, Gold Coast. ROMAX Painters repainted the ‘Les Colonnades high-rise’ in 2009 on the beautiful Gold Coast. This 18 storey building was given a new look with a new colour concept that gave the building a sleek nautical look that blended in perfectly with its surroundings and environment. This was achieved using 2 swing stage platforms on either side of the building.

Preparation of this grand old lady required that we remove and treat rust from blown concrete and rectify. A total wash down and re-textured where required, follow by two coats of Dulux weather shield.

The aluminium handrails required a total strip back to address corrosion. A 2 Pac primer coating followed by two coats of industrial strength 2 Pac epoxy.
